Privacy Policy

MyGermanyServer is a private disaster-recovery application operated solely by its owner. It transfers encrypted server backups to the owner’s Google Drive account.

Google user data

The application uses the Google Drive API with the drive.file scope. This permits access only to files the application creates or that the user explicitly opens with it. The application does not scan unrelated Drive files.

How data is used

Access is used only to upload, verify, retain, and restore encrypted disaster-recovery backups. Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

Storage and sharing

Backup contents are encrypted before upload. OAuth credentials are kept on the owner’s server with restricted filesystem permissions. Data and credentials are not sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.

Retention and deletion

Backup snapshots are retained according to the owner’s recovery policy. The owner may delete snapshots from Google Drive or revoke the app’s access at any time in Google Account settings.
